How to transfer an "invisible" web site
into a traffic magnet.

It seems everywhere I go on the Internet people are desperately searching for ways to get more traffic to their websites.  Traffic is oxygen; the lifeblood of your online business.  Without it, selling online is an exercise in futility. 

Quite frankly, it’s hard to increase your website traffic quickly.  As Interneters go, I stand with the crowd: we are an impatient lot.   We want traffic now, and we want it highly targeted!  What good is hundreds of uninterested visitors?  They must come to our site hungry!  We know that we have what they want and we are willing to prove it.

Transferring an invisible website into a traffic magnet is a PROCESS.  It can take many forms – some good, some not.  Nevertheless it will take a daily website promotion strategy, and every day that you do not promote your website is a day in lost sales.

Let’s say your website meets all the specs of perfection because this Article is not about setting up the perfect site --- that’s a whole other issue.  But given your flawless website, let’s concentrate solely on pulling a tsunami of visitors who want what you have.

Lists have been labeled GOLD with justification.   If you begin a list and build trust, over time you can certainly count on these subscribers to buy from you.  Ezines or Newsletters are one way to build a list.   And there are many programs that will, for a fee, send you “permission-granted” (opt-in) email addresses. 

The philosophy of ALL top marketers is, “No list, no business, no point”.  Almost without exception these same marketers would rather have a new email address than $100 in their pocket.  Your list is part of your “traffic” and you must treat them like gold.   Yet again it takes months, sometimes years for the traffic to start growing to any sizeable number. 

Programs that guarantee you unlimited traffic are numerous, and the herd mentality even greater as they stampede towards the nearest cliff.    I know, I’ve gone over a few myself.  They aren’t all bad but hype aside, they hit your wallet and hours of your time.  And again, the traffic trickles in.

Is there a BIG SECRET – that big one that nobody is telling you?   Have they given you just enough to tease [and profit from] but not enough to stuff your bank account?  If they gave it all to you, would Internet Marketing self-destruct?    

I think it’s time someone shared the whole truth, gave you the full recipe – not just the ingredients, but the WHEN, the HOW and more importantly, the WHY!    

You can’t get back your hours but you can stop giving up more of them.  Start young, retire early.
